PAULA KNAPP
Paula Knapp: Paula has been active in English handbell ringing
since 1982 and has directed numerous bell choirs in Bremerton
& Vancouver, WA. She has a degree in elementary education
and has been involved in both instrumental and choral music all
her life and is currently a member of Bells of the Cascades in
Portland Oregon. Paula worked with Dolores Rhoads and Gold Coast
Music early on when we lived in the Bay Area, assisting in numerous
regional and local festivals.
RICK KNAPP
Rick has a degree in computer science and an infectious love
for both instrumental and vocal music. He has shared Paula's enthusiasm
for handbells, ringing in various choirs since 1986. A career
Naval Officer, Rick retired from active Naval service in 1996
and has pursued a successful 2nd career in customer service in
the Semiconductor Capital Equipment industry. He brings his computer
and organizational skills to Gold Coast.

Although the Navy took Rick and Paula all over the world they
have since settled down in Camas WA, just East of Vancouver in
South Western Washington State across the Columbia River from
Portland Oregon. They are both active in the local handbell community,
assisting new choirs and are eager to share their love for music
and handbells. They have two grown children Erik & Jessica
who have also been involved in bells in various choirs over the
years and live close by. Jessica also rings with Bells of the
Cascades.
